Tec 40
Go Technical - Go Deep!
The PADI Tec 40 course enables you to advance from recreational scuba diving to technical diving. Whilst gaining valuable experience, you will begin building the knowledge and skills that are required to continue your tec diver training. You will learn to make decompression dives to 40 meters and use up to 50% EANx. You will dive with a full technical rig such as doubles, harness and backplate, taking your diving experience to a whole new level! This course includes extensive theory sessions during which you will learn about technical gear and how to plan technical dives. You will participate in at least 4 dives.
At the End of the Course You Will Be Able to Do Decompression Dives Up To 40 Meters
Prerequisites
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
- PADI Enriched Air Diver with at least 10 dives using enriched air deeper than 18 meters
- PADI Deep Diver or proof of at least 10 dives to 30 meters (or equivalent of from another organisation)
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Minimum of 30 logged dives
Course Registration
To enroll in the Tec 40 course, all students are required to complete the Standard safe practices, the liability release and medical form. For the Medical questionnaire, if you fill a “Yes” to one or more questions, a medical clearance from your doctor will be required.
